VICE PRESIDENT – TINA M. EKBLAD

Tina Ekblad is the Planning Director and a Partner at Morris-Depew Associates, Inc. She is engaged in planning design, managing all phases of land use planning and permitting and providing presentations/testimony to support development. Her planning experiences have brought her from Southwest to South Florida and back again. Prior to joining Morris-Depew, Tina was a Planner for the Village of Wellington focusing on Economic Development and Strategic Planning for the western community in Palm Beach County. She has also practiced planning in other private firms and at the Town of Fort Myers Beach in Southwest Florida focusing on Comprehensive Planning and Floodplain Management. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University where she received her B.A. and M.P.A. and still resides in Fort Myers with her husband where they enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors and teaching their German Shepherd new tricks. She is also an avid endurance athlete, focusing on triathlons and half marathons. Beyond her athletic pursuits, Tina also serves on the Board of Directors for Connect Florida, a Leadership Florida organization and is Regional Chair for the Southwest Florida Region.
